The platform is a game changer for businesses as, while employee referrals are 3-4x more likely to be hired and have a 39% better retention rate, generally less than 10% of annual hires come through referrals.

Real Links significantly boosts employee referral hires by syncing with employees’ social and professional networks, matching their connections to jobs and making referral recommendations. We also use gamification (i.e. a referee leaderboard and prizes) to keep employees engaged.

Importantly, the platform supports diversity by being name, ethnicity, nationality and gender blind to remove any unconscious bias.

This is an exciting time to join the Real Links team as we have recently secured investment and we are looking for a Head of Marketing to join the business to create and implement a world-class marketing strategy.

The Role

Our Head of Marketing will be given the budget and tools to enable us to realise our vision of becoming the indispensable way to hire great teams and build successful companies.

Working with the founders, you’ll have a high level of autonomy to build the marketing function for the business, plan a marketing strategy and then execute on it. You will be a key player in driving the business into its next phase of growth and there is a real opportunity to develop and take on more responsibility as the business grows.

The ideal candidate for this role either has experience of working as a head of marketing in a start-up or is a senior marketing manager in an agency or corporate environment who is looking to take the next step in their career. You’ll be an innovative thinker who has the ability to build and lead the marketing function for the business. You’ll be looking for an opportunity to join a well-funded company at an early stage and build the foundations, process and execution for exponential growth.

Responsibilities:

  • Creating and executing on a marketing strategy and vision to drive exponential growth.Raising awareness of Real Links and the power of employee referral hires.
  • Demand generation for the sales team driving growth in the company.Managing and creating marketing campaigns with measurable KPIs.Helping to increase the number of inbound leads we get through our website.
  • Helping to deliver and creating content for our PR strategy.Finding and developing new partnerships with media and other promotional channels.
  • Managing production of outbound content like whitepapers, website material, social media & press releases and the outbound marketing strategy.
  • Create internal marketing collateral for use within our SaaS tool to ensure our clients are onboarding and their employees are engaged with our tools and communication.
  • Helping to increase our search engine ranking.Helping to drive traffic to our site through use of SEM & social advertising.
  • Attending and delivering marketing focussed events to increase our profile where appropriate.

About You:

  • You’ll love the idea of working in a start up environment.
  • You live and breathe marketing, and love to keep up to date with the trends and methods.
  • You’ll be full of great ideas about new and innovative ways to help the business grow.
  • You’ll be able to create a marketing vision and voice for the company and be great at following it through into marketing collateral, advertising and everything we do.
  • You have experience in the B2B space and will be able to hit the ground running.
  • You’re able to work within a team and deliver to a plan and hit deadlines, but you are also a self-starter and able to come up with and execute your own ideas.
  • You’ll love a fast paced environment and managing multiple work streams to create demand and awareness of the product.
  • You’ll have experience managing a budget and measuring the success of each marketing channel.
  • You’ll be able to manage but also able to deliver on projects yourself.

Essential Skills & Attributes:

  • Min 4 years marketing experience, ideally within a B2B software company.
  • Detail orientated and highly motivated.
  • Experience devising, planning and executing on marketing strategy.
  • Someone proactive, looking to lead the marketing function for the business.
  • Demonstrable evidence of increasing sales & leads for your previous employer(s) via your marketing prowess.
  • Experience in orchestrating various marketing channels to achieve growth targets – from brand, OOH, radio, paid social, podcasts, thought leadership, community to influencer marketing.
  • Good communication skills and a team player.

Desirable Skills & Attributes:

  • Marketing degree or similar from a reputable university.
  • Experience with Hubspot, Pardot or other inbound tools.
  • Experience with Google, Facebook & LinkedIn Advertising.
  • Experienced in SEO (Technical or Non-Technical).
